Actor & Voice Over Artist
I'm Jordan Whitby and I'm based in London. I attended the Brit School where I studied theatre; performing in both classical and contemporary performance.
Credits include John Reynolds in Anne Boleyn, Thaliard in Pericles Prince of Tyre, performed at Brighton Fringe festival. As well as performing and co-writing 'Interracial Brothers' in the Brit School's annual Strawberry Picking Season of new writing. I was then emitted in to the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain shortly afterwards.
I went on to study at Rose Bruford College. As part of the course I attended a placement in Tallinn, Estonia at the Estonian academy of Music and Theatre. Whilst there, I studied acting, dance, acrobatics, singing & vocal improvisation.
I attended The Baltic Media & Film School which is also situated in Tallinn, it was here that I studied acting for screen and made a short film with Gabor Dettre.
I have continued my training by taking regular classes at The Actors Guild, The Actors Centre, and The Monobox.
Recent credits include: 'Deeds Not Words', directed by Kate Valentine, which took place at Swiss church, Covent Garden and also 'Home For a Lost Soldier' at The Tristan Bates Theatre which was directed by Mark Beer.
Continuing my passion in theatre and film and finding my voice within them, I have found a love for Voice Over and have voiced for commercial, corporate, audiobooks, and video games.
I also have training in Performance Capture from The Mocap Vaults and hope to pursue more motion capture projects in the near future.
